I paused to analyze the bricks, used in such a distinctive way in old buildings, paying particular attention to the contrast between the colour of the brick itself and the grout line, that gives such a deep effect. I wanted to bring this back to life using different shades of colours.
The richness from the past also led us to include multiple shapes like rhombus and “Cassettonati”, ending our journey through the forms of the past.
